Program Overview

Welcome to a world of discovery—where social studies comes alive, and young minds embark on a journey to understand themselves, their heritage, and their place in an ever-changing world.
Think Social (1–6) is more than just a series—it's a learning adventure crafted especially for the students of Saudi Arabia. Designed with the Kingdom's rich culture, values, and Vision 2030 at its heart, this edition speaks directly to Saudi learners, honoring their identity while equipping them with the most advanced, research-backed teaching methodologies available today.
Every lesson is thoughtfully shaped to reflect Saudi traditions, national pride, and the unique stories that connect students to their land and legacy. From exploring local communities in the early years to analyzing global events with confidence and clarity in the upper grades, Think Social builds a bridge from heritage to horizon—empowering the next generation of Saudi thinkers, leaders, and changemakers.
Because when education is rooted in who you are, there's no limit to who you can become.

Key Features
Brain-Based Teaching

Brain-based teaching is an innovative approach rooted in the latest research on brain development and learning. This approach emphasizes understanding how the brain functions in order to create effective teaching strategies. When teaching methods align with the brain's natural learning processes, educators can enhance students' cognitive abilities, engagement, and comprehension.

Visible Thinking

Visible thinking is grounded in the work of Project Zero, housed at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Researchers at Harvard developed thinking routines—sets of questions or brief sequences of steps—to deepen students' thinking and make that thinking visible. Many of these thinking routines are effectively applied throughout the program to help students develop a critical mindset.

Differentiation

Differentiation is essential in education because it acknowledges and celebrates the diversity of students. Every learner brings unique strengths, weaknesses, preferences, and learning styles that shape their understanding and progress. By adopting a differentiated approach, educators can address these differences and create an inclusive environment where all students can thrive. Whether through additional support for struggling learners or extended challenges for high-achieving students, differentiation ensures that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Problem Solving

Problem-solving is the process of defining a problem, identifying its causes, exploring and prioritizing alternative solutions, and implementing the most effective course of action. In this program, problem-solving is applied through clear, structured steps beginning at the earliest levels.

Critical Thinking

Critical thinking is the disciplined process of actively conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating information gathered from observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication. Throughout the program, students are guided to apply a systematic critical thinking process from a very early stage.

Personification

Personification is a powerful literary device that attributes human characteristics to non-human entities such as concepts, objects, or ideas. In education, personification helps make abstract concepts more relatable and accessible. By personifying key ideas, students can better grasp their importance and value, opening the door to deeper understanding and personal connection.
